I’ve been asked to be a part of Interior Design Master Class. I will be joining other top designers on a panel of experts for this premier event for the Interior Design community. It’s an honour to be acknowledged as an expert in this competitive field and I look forward to sharing my personal business experiences and tips (some from the school of hard knocks!).
If you have a design business for at least seven years and are seeking to grow and boost your income, this is a must attend seminar. Click here register.
I hope to see you there!
It’s that time of year when thousands of industry design professionals head to High Point Market in North Carolina to scout out new products. I have my list of suppliers I plan to visit, but leaving some time to be spontaneous as there is an unbelievable amount to see…it’s mind-boggling! I’ll post some of my favourite finds when I return, or you can follow me on Instagram to see all my hunting and gathering.
For now, my focus is on packing the right clothes and making sure I’m prepared for whatever inevitable event comes my way. I need to look stylish and professional, yet still comfortable. I’ll keep it classic with a twist – which is the way I design my interiors.

Along with client referrals, it’s essential my design firm can showcase the projects we’ve done in order to get future work. With that said, I’m prepping for another photo shoot of a home I designed in Waterloo to add to my portfolio. The owners of this home are professionals with two busy teenagers who are soon leaving for university. They wanted a serene, contemporary home with very little clutter. Admirers of mid-century modern furniture, we added a few pieces influenced by that style throughout the home. Here a few before styling pictures we took to aid us as we plan and shop for the actual photo shoot day coming up.
